A Sacred Mission to Protect Gaumata

Nestled in the heart of Barmer, the gateway to the great Thar Desert, Shreegopal Gaushala stands as one of Rajasthan’s most active and dedicated cow shelters. Founded on the eternal values of compassion, service, and the sacred Indian tradition of Gau Seva, we have grown into a thriving sanctuary for over 1,800 cows.

Our gaushala is not merely a shelter — it is a living temple. Every cow here is treated as Gaumata, nourished with love, given space to roam freely, and cared for with the highest standards of animal welfare.

From our main campus housing the revered Krishna Bal Gopal Mandir, to our sprawling new 130-bigha campus with 2,000 trees, we are building a green, spiritual sanctuary for generations to come.
